Who we are
Pride Quill Publishing is operated by Rowan Tree Publishing LLC. In this policy, “Pride Quill,” “I,” and “me” refer to the business. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the contact form or newsletter signup on pridequillpublishing.com.
Information you provide
Contact form
When you send a quote inquiry, I receive the name and email address you provide, along with the information you choose to share about your book and the services you are seeking. Depending on the form fields you complete, this may include an approximate word count, desired services, timing, and how you heard about Pride Quill.
I use this information to review your inquiry, decide whether I may be able to help, prepare a quote, and communicate with you about the quote. Sending a contact form does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Please do not send your full manuscript or sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Newsletter
If you choose to subscribe, I collect your email address through Hostinger Reach and use it to send the Pride Quill newsletter. Newsletter signup is separate from a service inquiry. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a newsletter email. Hostinger Reach processes subscriber information to manage the mailing list, send messages, and honor unsubscribe requests. How information is stored and shared
Contact form messages are emailed to me. The form may also store a copy in the website’s WordPress administration area if Elementor Pro submission collection is enabled. The website host, WordPress services, and the email providers that deliver messages may process information as needed to provide those services. Newsletter addresses are processed by Hostinger Reach for the newsletter purposes described above.
I do not sell or rent personal information, and I do not share it with unrelated parties or for their marketing. I use service providers only as needed to host the website, deliver messages you send, and send the newsletter you request. I do not use your inquiry information for unrelated purposes or disclose it for another purpose without your express consent, unless disclosure is required by law.
Website technology and embedded content
Website hosting and security services may automatically process technical information, such as your IP address, browser or device details, and server logs, to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website. The Contact page includes a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may receive information about your visit under Google’s Privacy Policy.
WordPress account registration is currently enabled. If you create an account, WordPress may process the account information you submit, such as your username and email address, to provide account access. This account feature is separate from Pride Quill’s contact form and newsletter.
How long I keep information
If your inquiry does not lead to a project, I keep its contact form information for up to one year after our last communication, then delete it unless I must retain it for legal, accounting, security, or record-keeping purposes. If you become a client, I may retain relevant communications and business records for as long as needed to manage the work and meet applicable record-keeping requirements.
I keep newsletter information while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, I remove your address from the active mailing list. Hostinger Reach may retain a limited suppression record so it can honor your unsubscribe request.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in an email. You can also email me to ask what information I hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. I will respond as required by applicable law and may retain information when necessary for legal, security, or record-keeping purposes.
Information security
I take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the website and limit access to it. No method of online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when the website or its services change. I will post the updated policy here and revise the date below.
